Handpicked from the annals of music history, Supercolab is proud to be bringing the legendary Joy Division and New Order co founder and bassist, Peter Hook, for an exclusive DJ performance in Beijing. We continue to provide hand picked artists from around the world, support local talent, affordable entrance, interactive sponsors and new drinks from around the world.

Our events are at the avant-garde of creative culture, building idiosyncratic milestones for China’s music scene. We do this not only with our sponsors and artists, but with our diverse, creative, fashionable crowd.

One of the godfathers and pioneers of electro disco back in the 80s, Peter Hook and New Order have been at the forefront of this scene since its inception. Producing revolutionary and seminal tracks such as “Blue Monday” and catching the hearts and imaginations of the post punk generation with Joy Division he has helped define a generation.

An internationally toured DJ over the last 10 years, featuring at prestigious festivals such as Glastonbury, Benicassim, Coachella and currently touring the U.S. and Canada, this will be must see event and an historic milestone in the Beijing music scene.

Featuring tunes present to the Hacienda / Manchester revolution, some New Order classics /exclusive remixes, an insight into what music is currently making waves and a look into what the future sounds of electro and disco might be sounding like, Peter Hook’s presence in Beijing will be a seminal moment to savour.

Our clientel is diverse, just as our sponsors. This coming event includes an hour of free drinking (9-10pm) provided by the fresh Eastern European beer ‘Vedett’ to set the atmosphere. Vedett will also feature its own beer printing photo booth where each person will get the chance to have their photo appear on thousands of beer bottles distributed all over China.
